Lynne Canell is Home Manager at The Porterbrook.

Lynne brings a wealth of experience to The Porterbrook Care Home both clinical and leadership.  She prides herself on ensuring that the residents receive the very best in person-centred care.

Our residents enjoy a charming setting at the Porterbrook Care Home, which is located in the Crosspool suburbs of Sheffield. The residence has 44 modern en-suite bedrooms as well as a number of amenities. The Porterbrook Care Home offers nursing, dementia, residential, and respite care in a warm and secure environment. We are honoured to provide our residents with the support they need in order to live a happy life every day.

Our home was founded on the belief that everyone deserves to live life to the fullest, and our professional staff takes pride in providing a loving and supportive environment where everyone can enjoy every moment of their stay with us.

All 44 bedrooms here at The Porterbrook Care Home have been carefully designed to assist staff when delivering the highest level of care to all of our residents. Each room has a state-of-the-art profiling bed and call system, to ensure care needs can be met easily.

Our luxurious bedrooms have been tastefully designed with some even offering a lovely view of the beautiful courtyard. All rooms are decorated to the highest standard and come with their own en-suite wet room. Our focus is on providing all of the facilities and opportunities required for residents to feel comfortable and enjoy living their life to the full, their way.

Activities Are So Important

t The Porterbrook Care Home, our staff is devoted to providing exceptional services in a safe environment that allow residents to make the most of every day. We want our residents to be able to keep doing what makes them happy, whether that’s watching a classic film on our cinema screen, socialising with friends and family in our private dining area, or learning about the heritage of Sheffield.

The most interesting activities are planned by our trained Activity Coordinators for our residents. In addition, we have a chauffeur-driven car available to take our residents from one trip to the next; our home’s location is ideal for residents and their loved ones to explore Sheffield and the neighbouring areas.
