Ansitha Sasi is General Manager at The Wingfield.
I have been a registered nurse since 2012, completing my nurse training in Kerala, India. I have extensive experience in care home settings. I strive to continually improve the quality of service we provide with an absolute focus on person centred care. I am here to offer support to the residents, their families and the team.
I see Wingfield as being a home that can support every stage of later life, we are in the unique position of having two separate homes. For anyone considering care for a loved one our doors are always open for you to visit and meet the team.
At The Wingfield Care Home, we provide 24-hour nursing and residential care for older people in need of support, including those with dementia. Our skilled team are dedicated to ensuring each resident has the best quality of life, that independence is promoted, life skills are maintained and care is provided with dignity.
The home consists of two beautiful buildings, including a Memory Lane Community, which provides bespoke care for individuals living with dementia. It is finished and furnished to an extremely high standard, offering a homely feel with beautiful landscaped gardens and en-suite shower rooms for every resident.
Our home is situated in the heart of Trowbridge, just on the River Bliss in the West Country. Located close to the community with access to local amenities, the home is ideal for those wanting to retain as much independence as possible. We are always happy to discuss how we can meet your needs, so please, give us a call or pop in. A warm welcome will always await you.

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
