David Briant is Registered Manager at Westerleigh Nursing Home.
David is a highly experienced and creative Registered Manager, who is also a Registered Mental Health Nurse. He has led Westerleigh Nursing Home for several years now, supported by an experienced Leadership Team and other colleagues.
Westerleigh provides Nursing Care and Residential Care and as well as Short-Term Respite, Convalescent and Holiday Care. By offering a comprehensive range of services we are able to meet the individual needs of each Resident.
Situated in its own attractive wheelchair accessible grounds in a quiet residential area at the eastern end of Seaford, between Seaford Head Golf Course and the sea. Seaford lies between Brighton and Eastbourne and benefits from a long and level promenade.

Large corporate ‘Travel Lodge’ style homes may seem attractive to us, the younger generation, because we’re used to them. However, for Mum or Dad they can seem like large, anonymous, intimidating, institutional style buildings that are a world away from what they’re used to. They’re so big that you can’t get to know everyone and rattling down those long corridors to see those you do know can be a real chore. They’ll feel much more at home with the cosy, comfortable, traditional feel of the rooms at Westerleigh where everything is easily accessible and you don’t need a walkie talkie just to hold a conversation across the living room. |

There’s always something fun and engaging for your loved one to get involved in at Westerleigh. We don’t need much of an excuse for a party and have had great fun hosting Wimbledon tennis days with lots of strawberries and cream and Derby days with everyone ‘betting’ on their own horse. We pride ourselves on providing opportunities for friendship and helping our residents to regain their independence and enjoyment of life through providing daily activities that they used to like but have stopped doing recently. Things like bingo, quizzes and word search, dominoes, flower arranging, baking, arts and crafts, and singing and dancing. |
