Meet The Manager

Charlotte Harman is Registered Manager at Woodland Court Residential Home.

Charlotte began her career at Woodland Court as a part time Kitchen Assistant in 2006. After completing a fashion degree at Southampton University, Charlotte realised that care was her passion and returned to Woodland Court as a full time carer. She progressed quickly and took on the role of Deputy Manager in January 2015 and then Manager in October 2017.

Charlotte has achieved her NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care and is very focused on providing a personalised living experience for all of the residents. Charlotte enjoys spending time with her family, as well as practising her hobbies: swimming, singing and drawing.

Charlotte Harman

Described as a ‘home from home,’ Woodland Court is a charming three storey residential home situated on the outskirts of the bustling market town of Fareham, neighbouring Portchester and its medieval castle.

Our home is easily accessible with a train station nearby and a bus stop at the top of the driveway. The building was historically a home for children and a homely, warm ambience still remains.

Autumna has invited care providers to evidence the infection control measures they are carrying out, above and beyond those laid out by the government, in order to keep residents, staff and visitors safe.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

Testing & PPE:

We are now being provided with large scale testing kits to enable us to test and re-test staff and residents regularly allowing us to react quickly and minimising the risk of an outbreak. We have ample PPE from a private source available for staff, residents and visitors to use if required. We are also giving staff enhanced training.

We do ask that visits are booked in advance at so we are able to plan accordingly. Visitors will still need to take rapid flow tests on arrival and will need to wear a mask.

Activities Are So Important

At Woodland Court we have an extensive list of entertainment and activities including regular singers, visiting libraries and even our own mobile tuck shop and ice cream van!

We also firmly believe that keeping the body active, even for those who are now less agile than they once were, can do wonders for the state of mind. As such, we have an activities co-ordinator, who has devised enjoyable pastimes to stimulate both body and mind.
