Meet The Manager

Sue Townend is Registered Manager at Wraysbury House Limited.

Sue has been at the care home since August 2017.

Wraysbury House is an independent private care home, specialising in Dementia and Residential Care, set in a conservation area of Worthing West Sussex, with its own ornate gardens and surrounded by mature trees in a leafy suburb of West Worthing, within a few minutes’ walk from Worthing Beach and town centre, providing a beautiful setting for our residents to make themselves a home away from home.

We have up to 30 residents at a time, each in their own en-suite bedrooms, which are decorated and furnished to the highest standard. Each room can be personalised to the residents wishes. Every room is monitored for safety and for their daily needs by our nurse call systems. All rooms can be easily accessed by a passenger lift leading to all three floors of the home.

We have a beautiful grand lounge, where residents can socialise, read a paper partake in the ongoing activities, or simply watch a movie or tv show, which leads to the air conditioned sunroom.

The Sun Room a large glazed room overlooking the ornate gardens and extending to both Reminiscence library and Dining rooms.

Our beautiful ornate landscaped gardens include water features, a summer house, patio area, gazebo seating, topiary hedges with garden statues, raised beds for the flowers and vegetable patches. In addition, we have a wonderful outdoor dining area and seating.

Description

All rooms are en-suite and have nurse call systems and can have TV and entertainment systems if preferred. We also encourage residents to discuss any furnishings they wish to bring from their own home for their personal comfort if they prefer.

The home has Wifi throughout and if any resident wishes to keep a PC or Tablet for their own entertainment or communication can be arranged.
