Meet The Manager

Chilie Sibelo is Care Manager at Arlington House.

A former nurse with a wealth of experience in both a hospital and care home setting, Chilie oversees the day to day running of the home and is our clinical lead. Chilie keeps a close eye out to ensure our residents personal and social care needs are met.

Chilie works closely with David and Roxana to continually improve the homes’ facilities and ensure the service we offer to our residents is safe, person centred and of the standard we would want for ourselves or our own loved ones.

Welcome to Arlington House, a family owned and run Residential Care Home by the sea.

We provide elderly adults and those living with dementia with tailored, person-centred care in a home-from-home environment. There are varied activities, quality freshly prepared meals and a holistic approach to the care and well-being of our residents.

Arlington House is located in a wonderful central position just up from Hove Seafront which is approximately a two-minute walk away. Wish Park with its café and recreational facilities is just one block to the north.

The home is well served by main bus routes affording easy access to the shops and restaurants in either Brighton, Hove or Portslade.

Autumna has invited care providers to evidence the infection control measures they are carrying out, above and beyond those laid out by the government, in order to keep residents, staff and visitors safe.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

Our Home takes the safety of our residents, staff and visitors seriously. During elevated cases of community COVID our home is well set up to prevent the spread of COVID from entering the home. We have robust infection control systems in place, separate entrances for staff and visitors each with sanitization stations. Our Home benefits from a flexible layout that allows us to provide a safe, comfortable place for visitors and residents to share time together away from the rest of the home.

Infection Control Initiatives in place
safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
safe-tick Virus Testing We are testing for viral infection when symptoms present within our care setting.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
