Meet The Manager

Amanda Perrins is Registered Manager at Woodlands Court Care Home.

Amanda started her career in care more than 20 years ago as a care assistant. Since then Amanda has achieved her diploma level 2 & 3 in health and social care. Amanda has also achieved her level 5 diploma in leadership for health & social care for children & young adults & adult Management.

Amanda has been the sole Registered Manager of the home for more than 11 years, however, to provide an enhanced level of Management structure for the company Andrea Yates has recently joined Amanda in the role.

Located in the quiet Lincolnshire village of Kirton, near Boston, Woodlands Court has been providing excellent care for up to fifty-four adults since 1980.

We want to capture special moments and put emphasis on "home" as inside our doors there is a strong community which we nurture. Our rooms are, singles, ground floor with lovely views of our mature gardens.

Autumna has invited care providers to evidence the infection control measures they are carrying out, above and beyond those laid out by the government, in order to keep residents, staff and visitors safe.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

Staff are encourage to keep up to date with their covid-19 and influenza vaccinations. We provide symptomatic screening for staff and residents with symptoms of covid-19.

Staff have received enhanced training on infection control and on how to perform a covid-19 test on the residents. Staff are provided with PPE and and a risk assessment on waste procedures has been created in the event of an outbreak. The company holds a policy on being absent from work if they have a contagious infection or virus.
