Meet The Manager

Louise Lambert is General Manager at Ashcombe.

I have been the General Manager since 2016 and I’m very proud to manage a fantastic, caring team. I worked within the NHS for 14 years and, when I left, I managed a nursing agency that covered the South East of England.

It is my job to ensure we run a caring and safe environment for our residents and that Ashcombe House is an enjoyable place for staff to work.

Please feel free to come and meet the team and have a look around our small and friendly home.

Louise Lambert

Ashcombe House provides 24-hour nursing care services for older people in need of long term, respite care or post-operative care. We have strong links with local health providers and can take a multi-disciplinary approach to care and care planning, involving the individual and their family.

A variety of activities are available to all residents and our award-winning chef provides delicious meals based on individual resident’s likes and dislikes. Located near the town centre of Basingstoke, we are situated in a quiet location where the residents are able to enjoy the outdoors and our beautiful garden.

Why not arrange a visit and meet the team for a coffee and a chat? You will be very warmly welcomed by all of the staff at Ashcombe House.

safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
