Debbie Choularton is Home Manager at Woodlands Residential Care Home.
My name is Debbie, I am the Home Manager for Woodlands. I joined the company in 2000 and am very glad to work in such a wonderfully caring environment.
Our residents are so lovely and I and the rest of the staff have become so attached to them that we think of them as our friends. I am lucky to have a fantastic team under me who help make the home such a warm and friendly place that it is a home from home for us too.
I am so proud to have retained our Outstanding Overall rating from CQC. It is something the whole team is really proud of and we are working really hard to ensure we maintain our Outstanding Overall Rating.
Woodlands Residential Care Home is rated Outstanding Overall by CQC and is a friendly happy family run care home. The 39 bedrooms which are all en-suite are built around its central courtyard and wonderful gardens which provide all year round colour.
The residents are at the heart of the home, helping to choose the homes menu's and activities programmes.
With family values at the heart of what we do, working hard to preserve the residents independence and dignity as individuals.
Compassionate, caring, professional staff strive to improve the quality of life for those who have chosen to live at the home. All of the staff who work in the home are permanently employed with no agency staff used.
