A stone's throw away from the hustle and bustle of Maidstone town centre, The Grove Residential Care Home provides a home away from home for its residents

The Grove strives to provide a feeling of homeliness so people who come to stay there feel like they are at home and not in a care home.

Communal spaces

The Grove really comes into its own when you see our beautifully decorated communal areas. There is a main dining area where everyone is able to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner, unless, of course,  they prefer to dine in their room. The Grove also has a number of lounges to read a book or play some games or just to relax overlooking our landscaped gardens.

Visitors are always welcome to visit relatives or friends staying at The Grove, as it is crucial not to lose connection with loved ones.

Nothing is too much for the team at the Grove. They assist residents with most elements of care, and where it cannot be done, a professional will come and see to the resident's needs.

If you like what you have read so far, please contact The Grove to arrange a viewing.

These include games, talks, quizzes, video presentations, singing and a variety of activities arranged by outside professionals. We print a monthly newsletter to display pictures of events and inform residents and families of upcoming occasions and activities.

We have a small library and we arrange visits to the garden centre or the beach in the summer. Residents are encouraged to walk and sit in the lovely garden on warm days and enjoy a little gardening if they wish to.

Our residents are drawn from all religious denominations. Arrangements are made for those who wish to attend a local church or place of worship and regular services are held at The Grove by the established churches.
