Charlotte Ford is Care Home Manager at Amy Woodgate.
Charlotte joined Gold Care Homes in 2017 and has worked within the health and care sector for over 10 years. Charlotte’s journey began as a carer in domiciliary care, initially joining as a nursing assistant and progressing her career as a unit manager before becoming a deputy and home manager. Charlotte is dedicated to her job role and offers constant support and assistance to her team members. She is currently completing her Level 5 qualifications in Leadership and Management. Being a passionate and caring individual, Charlotte remains committed to ensuring that all residents receive the best quality of life.
Amy Woodgate House is a specialist resource centre for older people with dementia. Set over two floors, the home provides accomodation for 40 permanent and 4 short stay residents and is divided into four living units. Each unit contains a sitting and dining room with kitchen area creating a home from home environment. All rooms have large en-suite facilities.
Amy Woodgate House has a general store, tea room, welcome cafe and hair salon amongst a variety of individual quiet area’s for residents to enjoy. The large communal garden is landscaped with several seating area’s.
Each resident at Amy Woodgate House receives personalised care, ensuring they live an enjoyable and fulfilling life at their new home.
