Meet The Manager

Lesley Page is Registered Manager at Sesnha Care Ltd.

I have been in the care industry since leaving school. I trained as a stated registered nurse in 1976 and continued to do this until I had my first child.
I left nursing to undertake the challenge of being part of the birth of domiciliary care. I started my journey from carer and worked my way up the ladder in different care organisations. Since working for Sesnha since 2004 I started as a duty manager/ coordinator, I have progressed to manager , office manager and now registered manager.

Through the years I have complete my NVQ2, Apprenticeship NVQ3 and now I'm half way through completing my HABC level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult care.

Thus allowing me to enhance my skill in the care industry

"We are one of the few care providers who do not charge additional fees for weekends or bank holidays."

Sesnha Care was established on 31st March 1988.

We began by providing residential care for individuals with disabilities and learning difficulties before expanding into domiciliary home care in 1992.

Since then, our organization has positively impacted the lives of countless individuals across South and West Essex over many years of dedicated service.

Today, we provide care to more than 200 service users from our operating branch in Basildon and employ over 120 care workers and office staff across our service areas in Essex.

Our services include personal care for the elderly, alongside a suite of specialist care for individuals with dementia, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions.

We are committed to honesty, transparency, and clear communication to ensure that our service users and their families have choice and control over their care. To support this, we utilize the Birdie system, which allows family members to monitor care in real time. Additionally, we conduct regular monitoring and feedback sessions to ensure that care remains person-centered and responsive to individual needs.

At Sesnha Care, we continuously strive for excellence by providing our care staff with up-to-date training. Every staff member works toward achieving their Care Certificate through a comprehensive two-week induction program, covering the 15 care standards through classroom learning, independent research, practical training, and shadowing experienced professionals. This structured approach ensures that our team is well-prepared and equipped to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

All staff wear a Sesnha Care uniform with our logo, ensuring they are easily identifiable.

We align with the Government’s commitment to helping people maintain their independence for as long as possible in a way that respects their dignity and personal choice.
