Meet The Manager

Simon Linaker is Registered Manager at Banksfield Nursing Home.

I began my career as a Hospital Porter and Nursing Assistant. I became a Registered Adult Nurse in 2019 where I developed my passion for social care. I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for all service users. My passion for falls prevention has led me to conduct a evidence-based research to successfully implement in my working environment, underscoring my belief that the safety and well-being of our loved ones is the utmost priority. With a Level 5 qualification in leadership and management, I remain committed to continuous improvement, ensuring that our practices reflect the highest standards of care. In my role, I not only focus on the physical aspects of health but also advocate inclusively for the LGBTQ+ community, demonstrating that everyone deserves to feel welcome and respected within our nursing home. I am optimistic about the positive changes we can collectively bring, fostering an environment where dignity and respect are paramount.
