Alejandro Reytor

One of Gold Care’s most popular care homes is the highly-rated Baugh House, based in Sidcup, Kent. Baugh House offers residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care.

Located just off Sidcup High Street, Baugh House offers the best of both worlds: a rural setting with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the Foots Cray meadows, but still close to the usual high street stores, a pub, a supermarket, and a selection of independent shops offering eclectic goods.

Use this online form to arrange a visit to this warm and welcoming South London care home.

At Baugh House Care Home, we see each resident as an individual. Each has his or her own life story, likes, dislikes, and way of life.

Our residents enjoy their own care plan tailored specifically for them. This allows us to build their care around their
preferences, lifestyles and routines. It’s all part of our philosophy to see the person for who they are, not masked by age or condition.
This genuinely caring, person-centred approach drives everything we do at Baugh House.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

Gold Care Homes remains committed to ensuring all of our residents, loved ones, and hardworking members of staff are protected against the COVID-19 pandemic. All Gold Care Homes’ homes completed their second round of vaccinations. Our care homes have now begun the process of offering the booster vaccine to all residents.

The legislation makes vaccination mandatory for anyone who works in a care home, whatever their role. All care home residents will now be required to nominate up to 3 visitors who can enter the care home for regular visits. Visits must still be pre-booked, and visitors must test negative for COVID-19 at the start of the visit.

Activities Are So Important

Our Activities Coordinators at Baugh House Care Centre play a fundamental part in enhancing the lives of our residents by creating a fun and hugely varied programme for everyone to participate in. A great source of fun and laughter, our range of activities really helps each resident live their life to the full.

At Baugh House, we believe independent activity, hobbies, and daily chores boost self-confidence. By taking the time to understand each resident's capabilities, we can build a personalised activity plan.

We aim to create a programme that encourages as much interaction and enjoyment as possible. As you’d expect, most activities are indoors. However, we make the most of our lovely outdoor patio areas and landscaped gardens when the weather permits. When our residents feel a little adventurous, we also plan nationwide trips to popular landmarks!

Baugh House Care Home also offers several additional paid-for services, including hairdressing, chiropractic services, and the delivery of daily newspapers and magazines.
