Sophie Walls is Area Manager at Belong at Home Wigan.

Sophie has worked for the Belong organisation for over 11 years, starting her career as a support worker in the village households. Two years later, she was appointed a Senior Support Worker and quickly progressed to Lead Senior Support Worker before joining Belong's home care team.

She completed a level 5 in Leadership Management and has excelled since taking up the leadership role at the Belong at Home Wigan service. The team has won multiple accolades, including Belong’s internal Champion Awards and nationally at the Great British Care Awards and Stars in Social Care Awards. Sophie’s passion is ensuring the highest levels of attentive, person-centred support for the service’s customers and ensuring their quality of life is the best possible.
