Barry Devine is General Manager at Belong Warrington.
Barry is an experienced care professional, both on the care provider side and as an inspector of adult social care with the Care Quality Commission. He is passionate about ensuring the quality of life, positive outcomes, effective teamwork, and continuous improvement through person-centred practice.
His experience includes roles supporting autistic people and people with a learning disability to live independent and fulfilled lives, including building and training teams of support workers to provide high-quality support for people living in their own homes.
Prior to his role at Belong Warrington, Barry was an inspector for the health and social care regulator. He assessed providers’ compliance with standards, used his background and CQC operational experience to inform policymaking, and helped design and deliver training for inspection managers on its implementation.
