Sam Henderson is Care Home Manager at Mayflower Court care home.
Starting his career as a Chef Sam worked across numerous hotels, eventually moving into a Chef role within a care home setting. Enjoying the experience of interacting and engaging with the home’s residents on a regular basis, Sam decided that his passion for care and supporting people would become the new focus in his career.
Sam began his journey in residential care supporting adults with mental health conditions and learning disabilities. Taking skills, he learned from this environment, Sam moved into a supporting role with elderly residents and those with dementia. He eventually became the Home Manager at another Anchor care home, Augusta Court before moving to Mayflower Court.
