Our Residential Care Home in Sidcup
Frognal House Care Home sits just a short distance from the heart of the town. Purpose-built, our luxury care home provides a peaceful and relaxing environment in which elderly people can receive the exact levels of care they require. At our home, we warmly welcome couples or companions who want to continue their care journey together.
When you arrive at our Sidcup care home, you’ll see we’re surrounded by seven acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. They’re wheelchair friendly, so all of our residents can take in and enjoy the picturesque scenery. The home itself consists of three stunning buildings, with a total of 149 resident bedrooms, each with en-suite wet rooms and kitchenettes.
Our home has an array of fantastic on-site facilities. Our residents who like to look their best will find our hair and beauty salon offers the perfect pick-me-up, while our bright and spacious lounges provide a cosy spot to unwind. And when mealtimes arrive, we have a restaurant serving freshly prepared seasonal cuisine.
We can support you or your loved one in many different ways. For people who need some extra support with basic day-to-day activities, such as getting dressed, moving around the home and managing medication, we offer residential care. Our nursing care service enables those with longer-term conditions to receive a more intensive level of care from the local district nursing team.
Here, at Avery, we also pride ourselves on being an industry leader when it comes to dementia care. Our home features a dementia care community specifically designed to provide safety and comfort for those impacted by the illness. We also use life story work to understand our residents and learn how we can best support them as an individual.
