What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

Gold Care Homes remains committed to ensuring all of our residents, loved ones, and hardworking members of staff are protected against the COVID-19 pandemic. All Gold Care Homes’ homes completed their second round of vaccinations. Our care homes have now begun the process of offering the booster vaccine to all residents.

The legislation makes vaccination mandatory for anyone who works in a care home, whatever their role. All care home residents will now be required to nominate up to 3 visitors who can enter the care home for regular visits. Visits must still be pre-booked, and visitors must test negative for COVID-19 at the start of the visit.

Activities Are So Important

Our Activities Co-ordinators a Bletchley House Residential Care and Nursing Home play a fundamental part in enhancing the lives of our residents by creating a fun and hugely varied programme for everyone to participate in.

Our range of activities is a great source of fun and laughter, and it really helps each resident live life to the fullest. We believe independent activity, hobbies, and day-to-day chores boost self-confidence. By taking the time to understand each resident's capabilities, we’re able to build a personalised activity plan.

We aim to create a programme that encourages as much interaction and enjoyment as possible at Bletchley House.  Most activities are indoors; however, when the weather permits, we make the most of our lovely outdoor patio areas and landscaped gardens. When our residents feel adventurous, we also organise trips to popular landmarks!
