Highbury House Nursing Home - Care Home
Meet The Manager

Christine Barber is Home Manager at Highbury House Nursing Home.

Since the start of my career in care, I have always felt privileged to work in the care sector. It all started when I was 16 and I began working in a nursing home in Horsham as a Healthcare Assistant. I am now the proud Nursing Care Manager at Highbury House and I find it very rewarding to be working with a brilliant team and giving great person-centred care.

I am passionate about my family and my work and I joined Southcare Homes because their family values go all the way to the heart of the company and into the hearts of the staff that work here. I hope my extensive experience will help Highbury House achieve its potential, continue offering personalized care to residents and remain a happy home for everyone within.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
