Meet The Manager
Karen Rides is Registered Care Manager at Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead.
Karen started her career within the care industry in 2002 as a support worker, caring for people in her local community. She quickly realised she had a passion for caring for others and making a real difference to people’s lives. Through hard work and this genuine passion, Karen progressed quickly and has now gained a vast amount of experience in different areas within the health and social care sector. She has worked as a manager in the NHS and in both residential and domiciliary care across various locations in London. She is a trainer in medication, moving & handling, emergency first aid and dementia and is working towards her QCF level 5 Diploma award in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care.
