Meet The Manager

Kim Jones is Home Manager at Worthington Lake Care Home.

Kim has worked in dementia care for over 20 years, in various settings and roles. She initially started as a Domestic Assistant and worked her way up to achieve her first Registered Manager post back in 2015. Her focus is to always ensure the care provided by herself and her team is person centred, and promotes a full, meaningful and active life, of which activities and engagement play a significant role.

Worthington Lake is a purpose-built, accredited dementia care home in Wigan. Set within the beautiful Lancashire countryside, our home is tailored to state-of-the-art dementia care, both in design and culture.

From expertly trained staff to a bespoke open-plan environment, we’ve worked with leading academics to create a home that promotes independence, improves wellbeing and empowers residents.

That’s complemented by a culture of inclusion, engagement and personal care. Residents are supported in a bespoke environment, with full access throughout our home and gardens, overlooking the picturesque Worthington Lake
