Our friendly, well-trained team delivers person-centred care with residents encouraged to lead an enriched life, supported by our engaging social programme packed full of clubs, trips out and regular entertainment.

We understand that placing the care of someone you love into the hands of others, or choosing to go into care when you can’t manage at home any longer, is a very difficult decision. Our whole team recognise that each resident is unique and ensures that our care and support is personalised to the individual’s needs. We promote independence and respect choice, privacy and dignity.

Autumna has invited care providers to evidence the infection control measures they are carrying out, above and beyond those laid out by the government, in order to keep residents, staff and visitors safe.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

Great news, There’s no need to book online but please call at least 10 minutes ahead so we can expect you. Unless you have an exemption certificate you are asked to wear a mask at all times within our homes along with any other PPE provided to you by our team upon entry. Please speak to the manager if your loved one may be distressed by you wearing a mask. When departing please wash your hands before making your way to the reception.

We ask that you do not visit if you feel unwell, even if fully vaccinated and have tested negative for Covid. You may resume visiting 5 days after you feel better following symptoms like cough, cold, high temperature, diarrhea, vomiting, etc.

Please Note: Internal visits may be cancelled without notice if directed by the local authority should a Covid outbreak occur. However, pre-arranged essential and end of life visitors are exempted, and all others may visit externally using the booking system below.

There is a range of well-equipped and spacious en-suite bedrooms, some having views across the pleasant sensory gardens. Our residents with dementia are supported with sensory areas, reminiscence activities and memory boxes.

Bowood Court & Mews offers affordable, high-quality residential, dementia, respite and daycare.

The home has a range of lounges and relaxation areas, residents can find the perfect mix of social interaction or privacy. Our Care provides comfort and peace of mind, tailored around each individual and their own unique needs.
