Meet The Manager

Maxine Fearnhough is Peripatetic Manager at Briar House.

Briar House Care Home is situated close to the centre of Kings Lynn, with great transport links for both trains and buses. We are a large care home registered for up to 62 residents. All of our bedrooms are single rooms and most have ensuite facilities. Residents can enjoy excellent communal facilities with dining rooms, lounges, a dedicated activity room and a well-maintained garden.

At Briar House, we have a well-established team of friendly staff who have the skills to provide high quality residential and dementia care. Our aim is to provide a relaxed and homely environment for our residents. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms to make their space their home. We also provide a busy activities programme, which covers a wide range of leisure pursuits. Meanwhile, our catering team pride themselves on excellent traditional home cooking and are able to cater for special diets.

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
