Meet The Manager
Catherine Brierley is Manager at Dove Court Care Home.
Catherine is a Registered Nurse with many years of experience in providing care and support for a wide range of people to enrich their lives. She is a committed and approachable leader who is passionate about delivering the highest possible standards in care and quality of life for Residents.
Catherine shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She uses her knowledge and experience to motivate her team to deliver care and support in a way that Residents gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Dove Court.
Outside of work, Catherine enjoys a range of hobbies and interests that include arts and crafts, watching movies and once came runner up on the Weakest Link!
Located in a peaceful residential area just outside Burnley, Dove Court is a modern, friendly care home with 120 beds, that offers residential, nursing and dementia care.
Dove Court recently benefitted from a significant investment and refurbishment programme which has created a modernised living environment, designed to enhance the quality of life for our Residents. This includes the full refurbishment of bedrooms, redecoration of lounge and dining areas, treatment room and hair salon, as well as a brand-new café bar.

With sitting rooms, space for Residents to pursue their hobbies and interests and several dining rooms to choose from, Dove Court has a host of places in which to relax, dine, exercise, socialise and be creative. The pretty landscaped garden and patio is the perfect spot to spend time with friends and family, and is happily looked after by some of our Residents. |

The carers and Residents at Dove Court enjoy playing an important part in their local community. The home encourages an atmosphere of fun and inclusion and runs a weekly programme of events, which includes talks and demonstrations from local people willing to share their knowledge and talents. Performers from the area regularly visit and entertain Residents with songs, sketches, singing and dancing, and members of neighbourhood groups, volunteers and other locals often drop in for a cup of tea and a chat. |
