Lorraine Scholey is Manager at Richmond House.
Part of a residential area just outside Leigh in Lancashire, Richmond House is a welcoming, purpose-built home with 49 beds, which offers nursing care.
Richmond House’s Home Manager makes sure that all Residents receive the kindest possible care. Our extensively trained team will deliver all the nursing and specialist care and support services that your loved one requires. Personalised care plans consider not only medical, personal and dietary needs, but also the individual’s likes and dislikes, religious preferences, and suggestions from family members that might make their stay with us that little bit more enjoyable.

This lovely home has two sitting rooms and two dining areas in which to eat and socialise with garden views. In addition, a treatment room and hairdressing salon offer further opportunities to relax. The large enclosed garden, which is looked after by some of the Residents, is a popular place to catch up with friends and family. |

The carers and Residents at Richmond House enjoy playing an important part in their local community. The home encourages an atmosphere of fun and inclusion and runs a weekly programme of events, which includes talks and demonstrations from local people willing to share their knowledge and talents. Performers from the area regularly visit and entertain Residents with songs, sketches, singing and dancing, and members of neighbourhood groups, volunteers and other locals often drop in for a cup of tea and a chat. |
