Tracey Jane Axten is General Manager at Queensway House.
Queensway House Care Home in Hemel Hempstead offers first-class residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for residents over 65.
Queensway House is located near major shopping centres and transport hubs. The home benefits from substantial grounds that are often used for outdoor activities. Each resident enjoys unique, personalised care built around them and designed to make their stay with us as enjoyable and fulfilling as possible.
Visit Queensway House, and you’ll find many facilities, including hairdressing, chiropody, dental/eye care, and a host of social activities to keep our residents busy. Of course, the best way to see the superb care and wonderful facilities we offer is to visit for yourself, meet our care team and see why we believe that Queensway House is uniquely placed to deliver graceful, caring living.
To us, every resident is an individual. Each has his or her own life story, likes, dislikes, and way of living. All of our residents enjoy their own care plan tailored specifically for them. This allows us to build their care around their preferences, lifestyles, and routines. It’s all part of our philosophy to see the person for who they are, not masked by age or condition. This genuinely caring, person-centred approach drives everything we do.

Activities Are So Important |
---|
Our Activities Coordinators at Queensway House play a fundamental part in delivering our mission of enhancing the lives of our residents by creating a hugely varied programme for everyone to participate in. We believe independent activity, hobbies, and day-to-day chores boost self-confidence. By taking the time to understand each resident's capabilities, we can build a personalised activity plan. We aim to create a programme that encourages as much interaction and enjoyment as possible. As you’d expect, most activities are indoors. However, we make the most of our lovely outdoor patio areas and landscaped gardens when the weather permits. We regularly arrange local and national trips to popular attractions. Use this simple online contact form to learn more about daily life in this highly-rated Hemel Hempstead care home. |
