Gold Care Homes remains committed to ensuring all of our residents, loved ones, and hardworking members of staff are protected against the COVID-19 pandemic. All Gold Care Homes’ homes completed their second round of vaccinations. Our care homes have now begun the process of offering the booster vaccine to all residents.

The legislation makes vaccination mandatory for anyone who works in a care home, whatever their role. All care home residents will now be required to nominate up to 3 visitors who can enter the care home for regular visits. Visits must still be pre-booked, and visitors must test negative for COVID-19 at the start of the visit.

Our Heath Lodge activities Coordinators play a fundamental part in enhancing the lives of our residents by creating a fun and hugely varied programme for everyone to participate in. A great source of fun and laughter, our range of activities really helps each resident live life to the full.

Part of Gold Care Homes, Heath Lodge believes that independent activity, hobbies, and daily chores boost self-confidence. By taking the time to understand each resident's capabilities, we can build a personalised activity plan. The aim is to create a programme that encourages as much interaction and enjoyment as possible.

Most activities are indoors; however, when the weather permits, we make the most of our lovely outdoor patio areas and landscaped gardens. We also regularly arrange local and national trips to popular attractions.
