Activities Are So Important

We believe in empowering our residents to live healthy and active lives, encouraging and supporting them to participate as fully as possible with the activities taking place in the home, while respecting their individual wishes and being mindful of their specific care needs.

Being part of a community means residents share mealtimes and enjoy a wide range of activities and outings, enabling them to build friendships with one another and with the staff. We also pursue connections with many community groups and facilities and encourage family members to take part in an active way in the life of the home.

At Dell Field Court, regular activities are organised by our dedicated coordinator’s to help keep residents’ physically active and mentally sharp. These events can include music entertainment, creative activities, tea parties, summer BBQs, quizzes and bingo, as well as recognising the diverse cultural events that take place during the year.

We love getting out and about in the local community and our activities diary includes trips out to local theatre, cinema and restaurants, as well as seasonable trips to the coast.
