Meet The Manager

Ebby Azigwe is Home Manager at Kent House.

Ebbie has worked in the health and social care sector since 2008. Before becoming a home manager, his journey with Gold Care Homes began as a deputy home manager and a regional support manager. His roles essentially entailed offering constant support and assistance to several homes within a specific region.

Ebbie has obtained a qualification in Leadership and Management Level 5. He is very passionate about the quality of care provided within the home and is a champion of staff progression within the company.

Kent House offers first-class care for residents over 65 in a quiet residential cul-de-sac in Harrow Weald, Middlesex. Each resident enjoys unique, personalised care built around them and designed to make their stay with us as enjoyable and fulfilling as possible.

To us, each resident is an individual. Each has his or her own life story, likes, dislikes, and way of living. All of our residents enjoy their own care plan tailored specifically for them. This allows us to build their care around their preferences, lifestyles, and routines. It’s all part of our philosophy to see the person for who they are, not masked by age or condition. Everything we do is driven by this genuinely caring, person-centred approach.

Gold Care Homes remains committed to ensuring all of our residents, loved ones, and hardworking members of staff are protected against the COVID-19 pandemic. All Gold Care Homes’ homes completed their second round of vaccinations. Our care homes have now begun the process of offering the booster vaccine to all residents.

The legislation makes vaccination mandatory for anyone who works in a care home, whatever their role. All care home residents will now be required to nominate up to 3 visitors who can enter the care home for regular visits. Visits must still be pre-booked, and visitors must test negative for COVID-19 at the start of the visit.

    Our Activities Coordinators at Kent House play a fundamental part in delivering our mission of enhancing the lives of our residents by creating a fun and varied programme for everyone to participate in.

    Our range of activities is a great source of fun and laughter, and it really helps each resident live life to the full. At Kent House, we believe independent activity, hobbies, and day-to-day chores boost self-confidence. By taking the time to understand each resident's capabilities, we can build a personalised activity plan.

    We aim to create a programme that encourages as much interaction and enjoyment as possible. As you’d expect, most activities are indoors. However, we make the most of our lovely outdoor patio areas and landscaped gardens when the weather permits. When our residents feel adventurous, we also plan nationwide trips to popular landmarks!
