Rosalind Godfrey is Home Manager at Brooklyn House Nursing Home.
As the Home Manger of Brooklyn House, Rosalind lead a professional team in providing the highest standards of care for up to 38 residents with varying needs.
Rosalind completed her training as a Nurse in 2006 and has worked in the care industry for over ten years - two as a Registered Nurse before progressing to a Deputy Manager. Rosalind underwent further training to gain knowledge in Tissue Viability, Wound Care and Leg Ulcer Management.
With a passion for providing high quality care to all that require it, Rosalind is in regular contact with all residents at the home and enjoys spending time with them.
Outside of the home Rosalind loves gardening, exploring new places of interest and spending time with her grandchildren.
Brooklyn House is a modern, purpose-built care home in Norfolk, situated in the heart of the attractive market town of Attleborough, offering the highest levels of residential and nursing care for up to 38 elderly people.
Care is provided closely inline with each resident’s person centred care plan. This not only details specific healthcare needs, but also important events that have happened so far in their lives, and preferences in every day aspects of life. We appreciate the positive impact that family involvement can have in a residential care setting and welcome active involvement and feedback from family members.
Brooklyn House retains the services of a local general practitioner, chiropodist, optician and pharmacy to ensure that the professional nursing and healthcare team are supported to deliver continuity in every aspect of the care we provide.
Our professional Care Team work closely with residents to ensure everyone who wishes to can play an active role in the day to day activities at the home. We have a dedicated Health and Wellbeing Coordinator who ensures there is a broad range of events for residents to participate in – from keep-fit classes to creative activities.
