Autumna has invited care providers to evidence the infection control measures they are carrying out, above and beyond those laid out by the government, in order to keep residents, staff and visitors safe.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

We are working within the government guidelines to help protect our staff and clients.

Infection Control Initiatives in place
safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
safe-tick Virus Testing We are testing for viral infection when symptoms present within our care setting.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

Activities Are So Important

There is a large, dedicated activity room and a team of coordinators, meaning many activities can be offered all week. There’s no typical day at Brunswick Court, but we have arts and crafts sessions, cookery classes, flower arranging, and our own indoor gardening club. There is something for everyone with a cinema club, sing-a-longs, quizzes and bingo, visiting singers and musicians.

During the week, we often visit Cassiobury Park and go on outings to places like the zoo and local museums.

Brunswick Court is happy to provide space for families to host private events such as birthday parties. We just need to know in advance. We can also arrange catering for an additional fee.

Use this book a visit link to find out more about the full range of activities we offer and get a real flavour of daily life at Brunswick Court Care Home.
