Meet The Manager
Erika Szalacsi is Service Manager at Burleys Wood.
I manage a team of 55 who support me in running a service that aims to deliver the type of care that we would want for our own loved ones. My deputy, team leaders, nurses, domestics, cooks and maintenance operatives ensure that we have considered all angles of making Burleys Wood as much of a home as possible.
Burleys Wood is a modern purpose designed care home situated in the quiet residential suburb of Furnace Green just outside Crawley town centre but close to local shops, services and the popular Tilgate Park. As well as developing friendships in the home we encourage residents to establish and maintain close links with their relatives, friends and the local community.
