Andrew Polverino is Manager at Burrswood Care Home.
Working in Social Care is a passion as much as a career. I am a dedicated and caring manager who has worked across different homes within the Advinia Group. We provide a full spectrum of care ranging from residential care to Dementia and Nursing care. Leading a professional, passionate and committed team is something that makes me proud.
My passion is to support homes that require additional support to create a better everyday place to live. Creating a warm, happy and caring home is what I strive for and with a dedicated team behind me, there is no stopping us. I am proud to be part of the Advinia Family and Burrswood House, a place where our residents become our family and their smiles brighten our days. I aim to provide care to our residents that I would be happy providing to my own family, only then will I be satisfied.

Welcome to Burrswood House Care Home in Bury. Our vibrant Home prides itself on being a warm and friendly community, providing person-centred care for Residents. Burrswood is made up of four Houses with each one offering a different type of dementia or nursing care.
Situated in Walmersley on the outskirts of the town centre, our Home is nearby to shops, cafés and local amenities, so it’s easy for our Residents to maintain their social networks and continue with their favourite pastimes. Our compassionate and dedicated team are on hand to provide as little, or as much, support as Residents need to help them stay active and enjoy themselves.

We offer a programme of events and activities that are designed to appeal to all of our Residents, with quieter options available if Residents feel like a more relaxing day. |
