Clare Feest is Registered Manager at Caer Gwent.
I have worked at Caer Gwent for 20 years. I have worked my way up from care assistant to care supervisor, to deputy manager of resources, through to my current role in 2021 as Registered Care Home Manager. I love meeting residents and families and have an open-door policy for all residents, families and our people. I love caring for our residents making them feel loved and part of our family.

Caer Gwent is a special place with a longstanding team that’s passionate about providing exceptional care, offering our residents a forever home where they are surrounded by love and support.
We take great pride in the fact that many carers at Caer Gwent, as well as the home’s management team, have been with us for more than 20 years. Our higher than average staffing levels mean we have more time to care, so we can focus on the small, meaningful details each day. Since it was founded in 1947, Caer Gwent has offered an unrivalled level of continuity of care. This gives residents and their families a reassuring sense of security, stability, and familiarity.
Fully inclusive, 24-hour professional nursing care sets us apart, offering peace of mind to residents and their families. Our team of registered nurses is on hand to provide clinical care whenever needed, whether day or night. Adaptable, individual care is at the heart of everything we do.
With elegant yet homely accommodation, and a full and varied wellbeing schedule, there is something for everyone - from music and exercise to day trips and crafts. We encourage our residents to live enriched and fulfilling lives. We also welcome friends and relatives to join us whenever they wish.
From our loyal and long-established team to our warm, friendly, and joyful atmosphere, Caer Gwent is a special place where everyone feels safe, secure, and loved – while living well and enjoying life. It’s a truly wonderful and unique place to call home.
