Meet The Manager

Delia Abaza is Home Manager at Alban Manor Nursing Home.

Our family has over 20 years experience in owning and running nursing and residential homes. In 2019 we were delighted to have acquired this beautiful purpose built home in the heart of St. Albans. Following an extensive refurbishment implementing the latest facilities and services, we opened our new home in 2019.

Our ethos has always been and continues to be to deliver the highest quality of care and a truly personalised service, delivering a ‘home away from home’ where residents are enabled to live fulfilled and happy lives. We enjoy being a family business where our family knows yours.

Autumna has invited care providers to evidence the infection control measures they are carrying out, above and beyond those laid out by the government, in order to keep residents, staff and visitors safe.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

Covid 19 has been a challenge for us all but we are elated to be open for visitors once again. We are no longer requesting that visitors wear masks but we do ask that you continue to take your temperature and thoroughly wash your hands before leaving reception to visit your loved ones.

Please remember, if you have been vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine, you are less likely to catch COVID-19, and to become severely ill if you do catch it. You are also less likely to spread COVID-19 to other people, but it is still possible for this to happen.

We are on our way back to "normal" and we want to thank everyone for being so kind and patient through these tough times especially our amazing team of staff and residents.

We are continuing to review and implement updated government guidance for care homes.
