Jian Chummei is Home Manager at Cambridge Manor Care Home.
I am a registered general nurse with CIPD level 5 HR qualification. I am particularly interested in working with elderly people who need dementia care and general nursing care.
Before joining our fantastic team at Cambridge Manor as a care service manager in 2013, I worked as a Deputy Home Manager in two other nursing homes. I have taken on the new role as the home manager here since November 2021. As a home manager, I lead, manage, and develop a dedicated team to provide high-quality, person-centred care according to the needs and wishes of each resident.
When residents need extra support to live as independently as possible, my focus is to provide a safe and happy environment to promote "wellness, happiness and kindness" in their lives.
Cambridge Manor provides you with a taste of Cambridge from its attractive location on the outskirts of the city centre. With beautifully landscaped gardens this Cambridge care home offers a modern, luxurious approach to care including en-suite bedrooms and spacious, lively communal areas. The inclusion of various activities every day keeps the residents entertained in their friendly and warm home. Cambridge Manor carries the values as all care homes within TLC Care such as extraordinary respite care in the gorgeous green area of Cambridge. This beautiful care home in the heart of Cambridge stands out with the experienced and caring staff, river cam views and enjoyable activities for all residents.
