Description

The large, beautifully decorated suites on the ground floor benefit from patio doors leading out to a furnished patio area within the grounds. There are a mix of profile beds and divan beds. Each room has its own spacious wet room.

Suites are furnished with large wardrobes and seating, with room for more furniture if desired, plus there’s a telephone and TV. We have some interconnecting rooms, suitable for couples or friends.

Choice of Suites

All our suites come fully furnished but are spacious enough for you to bring in some of your treasured pieces if you wish. Our Terrace suites on the ground floor all have patio doors which open onto small patios at the front of the Hall or the large garden terrace which wraps round the southern and eastern aspects.

Reminiscence has several large suites with a mixture of divans and profiling beds. This floor is wide and airy with plenty of space to feel unrestricted.

On the Penthouse floor, the suites are substantially larger, some over 40 square metres and have their own kitchenette for complete privacy and independence. This floor also has a bar area for enjoying a sociable evening drink with friends and family.

Assisted Living / Extra Support

On our Penthouse floor, some of our suites contain small kitchenettes which are suitable for people who are assessed as requiring lower levels of care.

Whilst all the support is available as a standard, we do not wish to diminish the independence of someone who wishes to take care of themselves for as long as they can, just with the reassurance of having someone on hand 24 hours a day if required.

Activities Are So Important

Sanders Senior Living are winning a reputation for putting lifestyle as being of equal importance as personal care. Your mental wellbeing has a huge impact on your physical wellbeing. With this in mind, we devise daily plans of activity which include physical exercise, and arts and crafts. There will also be regular trips out as well as various clubs to reflect the interests of those living here, be they choir groups, walking, bridge or art clubs.

We have twice daily film showings and all of our staff sit down together at 11am when it is ‘Time for Tea’. It doesn’t have to be tea of course, if you prefer a pre-lunch sherry – but everyone sits together and shares in conversation.

There will always be a ‘Juice of the Day’ at the bar and barista-style coffee with our own Sanders ground beans is available every day.
