Teresa Lawrence is Home Manager at Moor House Residential Care Home.
At Moor House, we strive to create a warm and welcoming environment that feels just like home for our residents.
Our goal is to support their independence while making sure they feel comfortable, valued and respected. We listen to their views, address their concerns and cater to their needs with the highest standards of care. Every member of our team understands our motto: "We are visitors in the residents’ homes, working together to support their needs." This perspective shapes everything we do.
I deeply believe in the importance of family, and I bring that belief to Moor House every day. It’s crucial to me that both residents and staff feel empowered to live and work in a caring, safe environment. With 12 years of experience in the care sector, I’ve gained the knowledge, qualifications, and tools needed to ensure our residents thrive in their later years. At Moor House, friends and family are always welcome, and we aim to make everyone feel part of our community.
At Moor House residential care home, we have a strong, committed and enthusiastic team, specialising in residential care. We understand that every resident is different, which is why we create a personalised care plan for each resident. That way, we can make sure individual needs are met and that Moor House truly feels like home. Moor House care home offers new residents the opportunity to stay in one of our elegantly decorated, light and spacious en-suite rooms.

All staff are equipped with personal protective equipment and the majority of our staff travel in their own vehicle to work. Our activities coordinator continues to plan daily activities for our residents and the residents can benefit from our lovely garden. All of our residents and staff have been tested and we are pleased to report we have no cases. |
