Fiona Gough is General Manager at Adlington Manor.
Welcome to Adlington Manor's website; my name is Fiona and I am the General Manager here.
I have a wide and varied career in nursing, including a short service commission in the Queen Alexander Royal Army Nursing Corps. I spent many years the health service in a variety of roles, including Theatre Manager, Directorate Manager and Modern Matron. I moved into the care sector in 2010 and have worked as a General Manager since that time. I joined Barchester in February 2015.
Nestled in the Cheshire countryside, Adlington Manor provides high quality 24-hour nursing care, including expert care for people living with dementia in our Memory Lane Community. Our team of highly skilled and attentive staff focus on the personal needs of each resident living with us and create uniquely tailored care plans for each and every one of them. Our home is renowned for its charm, elegance and character, but above all its distinct home-from-home feel.
We are proud to be one of the first homes to be accredited as part of Barchester’s 10-60-06 Dementia Care Programme, reflecting our exceptional dementia care and improved quality of life experienced by residents.
Remaining active is important for us all and is a central focus of care planning at Adlington Manor. Our activity programme is designed to meet the needs, hobbies and particular interests of the individuals who live with us. Regular music therapy sessions are an essential element of our treatment and therapy programme in our Memory Lane Community.
We take great pride in the quality of our catering, hospitality and events programme. Why not arrange a visit and experience what Adlington Manor has to offer for yourself? Choosing a care home can be a daunting process, so we are here to support and guide you through the process. We hope to see you soon!
