Lisa Murphy is Registered Manager at Cawood House.

Lisa Murphy has been with Borough Care for 28 years. She started her career as a Care Assistant and has since worked her way up through various homes before becoming Cawood House’s Home Manager four years ago. Lisa and her team are known for creating a warm, friendly and family feel at Cawood House, and recently won Borough Care’s ‘Family Connections Award’ for their amazing work in building a real community within the home. Lisa says visitors to the home can expect “warmth, love and laughter.”

Cawood House is a peaceful care home located near Brinnington train station. The 42-bed home has a large, beautiful garden for residents to enjoy during good weather. If the weather is on the rainy side, Cawood House has an indoor sensory garden and even a welcoming pub: the Cawood Inn.
