Raj Boodhoo is General Manager at Chalfont Lodge.
I have been a registered nurse for over 20 years. I graduated at Kings College London. I have worked in a variety of health & Social Care settings throughout my career, including NHS &Community, private hospitals, rehabilitation, long term care, project manager, education and dementia care. I am committed to delivering the very highest standard of care to residents within the home, offering them an opportunity to enjoy life. I enjoy leading my team in a way in which they are empowered to use their skills, knowledge & experience for the wellbeing of those we support.
Chalfont Lodge is a purpose-built home that provides residential and nursing care for older people, as well as people with neurological conditions, physical disabilities, and those living with dementia. Our highly qualified and compassionate staff are committed to ensuring that the people we support enjoy life as much as they can. The home has lovely gardens and offers a wide range of activities, including music therapy.
Treatments are patient and goal-centred, aiming to manage the needs of each resident holistically. We use a wide range of modalities, including exercise therapy, hydrotherapy, rebound therapy and physiotherapy, to achieve the maximal benefits.
Our dedicated Memory Lane Community provides specialist care for those with dementia in a homely yet secure environment. We are proud to be one of the first homes to be accredited as part of Barchester’s 10-60-06 Dementia Care Programme, reflecting the enhanced quality of care and improved quality of life experienced by residents here at Chalfont Lodge.
Our home is conveniently located in the small village of Chalfont St Peter, close to Gerrard Cross, with excellent public transport links. We welcome visitors at any time, so please feel free to drop in or call up to discuss how we may best suit your needs.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications |

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
