Suma Mathew is Manager at Cherry Blossom Care Home.
Suma has 25 years of working experience, with a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery, a BSc honours degree in Clinical Leadership at Northampton University, and a level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. She is also an in-house trainer with 'Train the Trainer' qualifications for 'Care and Moving & Handling' and a nurse trainer with mentorship qualifications from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge.
Suma started her career at Cherry Blossom Care Home as Deputy Manager, becoming Acting Manager before being promoted to Registered Manager in January 2021. A manager who thrives on helping build new friendships for our residents and encouraging local community involvement, Suma focuses on living a life of possibilities. She believes that working in partnership is the foundation of good leadership, and, to this end, she discusses all new ideas with her team.
