Meet The Manager

Shelly Prakash is The Home Manager at Cherry Hinton Nursing Home.

Having completed a diploma in General Nursing from Bangalore, India in 2007 and a Bsc (Hons) in Nursing from the University of West London in 2011, I started my career in the UK as a Health Care Assistant while waiting for my nursing registration.

I then went on to work as a Registered Nurse in 2013 at St.George’s Nursing Home in Cambridge, I then got promoted to Care Manager within the same Company after 2 years. I joined the Cherry Hinton Care Home as a Care Services Manager in November 2019 and have now been promoted to the Home Manager position. I am extremely passionate about looking after our elderly residents.
