Marina King is Home Manager at Chesham Leys.
Marina started her career in care in 1984 working in both residential care homes for older people and specialist dementia care settings. Marina has been part of the Fremantle Trust team since it was founded in 1992, and has been the registered manager at Chesham Leys care home since 2019.
Marina has always enjoyed being part of a team, working to ensure that all of our residents are treated with dignity, respect and compassion. She’s also dedicated to ensuring they receive person-centred care, which is one of our fundamental values. Leading a team of staff and working with others to make a real difference for the people we support are Marina’s daily motivations.

As an accessible nursing home in Chesham, we’re conveniently located close to Chesham town centre, and on a local bus route, Chesham Leys care home provides care for 62 people and is a purpose-built nursing care home, with resident well-being being our number one priority. Individual rooms can be personalised to feel as homely as possible, while each of our 3 floors has its own character and plenty of shared spaces.

Attractive outdoor spaces can really enhance wellbeing and at Chesham Leys, everyone is welcome to spend time in our delightful enclosed garden. It is fully wheelchair accessible and has a comfortable seating area that is perfect for catching up with family and friends. Raised flower beds allow residents to indulge in a spot of gardening and contribute to making the garden bloom. |
