Dominic Poole is Manager at Cheswardine Hall Nursing & Residential Home.
Cheswardine Hall was and is our family home. I must be one of the few managers in the country to have actually lived in their care home, but did so throughout my childhood - it was great, I had a house full of grandparents to help with my homework!!
Wind the clock forwards a few years and after graduating from university I enjoyed a number of years working for large multi national corporations, based out of London. I enjoyed my time in the 'big smoke' but missed the greenery and the space I had enjoyed throughout my childhood, so along with my own family I moved back home to help my parents, alongside my younger brother to develop Cheswardine Hall and continue the good work they had devoted their working lives to.
Now I am privileged to work alongside my family and the fantastic team at Cheswardine Hall.
Welcome to Cheswardine Hall, our family owned and run nursing and residential home for the elderly.
My family has proudly specialised in the provision of care for the elderly since opening the doors to Cheswardine Hall as a care home in the summer of 1985. Today, with the support of our excellent team we continue to run Cheswardine Hall as a family, offering care of the highest standards within luxurious; comfortable and homely surroundings.

Alongside essentials such as our passenger lift, wheelchair accessibility, commercial kitchens, laundry facilities and moving and handling equipment. The goal being to ensure our residents can enjoy the splendour of living within a mansion with 60 acres of gardens and parkland and the best ‘enablers’ that modern technology has to offer. |
