Meet The Manager

Teresa Monk is The Home Manager at Clarence Park.

Teresa was born in Rainham Essex and started her nursing career at the age of 14, volunteering at Saint George’s Hospital in Hornchurch. In 1986 Teresa moved to the West Country with her family and continued working in various care homes and progressing through her career. This has included working for Notaro Homes in previous years. For the past twenty years, Teresa has been nursing and managing an acute medical area. This involved working closely with a wide range of multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of care to a high standard.

Teresa Monk

Clarence Park Residential & Nursing Care Home in Weston Super Mare providing short and long-term care to residents who may be recovering from an illness, who may have on-going nursing care needs or those who may be living with a life-limiting illness.

An elegant, bay-windowed Victorian townhouse, Clarence Park Nursing Home, Weston-super-Mare is just minutes from Weston-super-Mare’s famous seafront. Situated opposite the much-loved Clarence Park, we enjoy views across its striking lawns and mature flower beds.

The garden features ramps and wide block paved areas for easy access, meaning everyone can enjoy our outside spaces. Colourful flower beds, a gently flowing fountain, an arbour with plenty of climbing plants and a delightful clematis, provide shade on sunny days. Raised planters make gardening a continuing pleasure for many of our residents who are encouraged to continue with their existing hobbies and participate in new ones.
