Penny Luckett is Home Manager at Cleeve Lodge.

An extended Victorian house, offering two floors of accommodation for elderly residents in need of 24 hour care.

We are situated in the picturesque and tranquil village of Goring on Thames, complete with stunning views of the Streatley Hills. There is easy access to and from the M4 and good transport and rail links to surrounding towns.  Local amenities are a short walk from the home and include shops, cafes, pubs, a library and doctor’s surgery.

Our Building and Facilities

The home itself boasts a large sociable lounge, dining room and conservatory. There is also a smaller, quieter lounge with a drinks making facility,  which can be used when relatives visit or our residents just want some quiet time. We also house a large, secure garden full of plants, shrubs and flowers which have been requested and chosen by some of our residents,  a patio area with new seating, tables and parasols, a barbecue and our very own vegetable patch.

Description

We have 22 rooms in total. Some rooms are en-suite while the remainder have a bathroom or wetroom close by.  There is a re-decoration programme in place and most rooms are freshly decorated with ground floor rooms having patio doors onto the garden with modern clean furniture, bed, bedding and lighting.

Most of our bedrooms have stunning views of the Streatley Hills or overlook the garden.  We have two lifts  which are situated either end of the home which enables easy access to the bedrooms on the first floor.
