Activities Are So Important

With extensive weekly activity calendars, there is always plenty to choose from, whatever a resident’s mobility level. Activities inside our homes include ballroom dancing, board games, guest musicians and speakers and of course our ever-popular bridge tournaments.

We also organise regular outings, from theatre and cinema trips to nature walks, shopping trips and church services. Many of our homes also have gardening areas and potting sheds, where green-fingered residents can tend their own plot.

Regular exercise classes for all abilities, physiotherapy treatments in our specialist therapy rooms, and country trips are just some of the activities by which we maintain physical wellbeing. Stimulating activities such as crossword challenges, quiz nights and foreign language classes offer a great range of options for mental wellbeing.
