Meet The Manager

Xiao Williams is Home Manager at Candlewood House.

I first studied advanced nursing in China during 1980s. Over the years, I have expanded my career across different countries, from Middle East to eventually settling in the UK. After successfully completing NMC Overseas Adaptation Programme, I have been dedicated to Intensive Care Nursing within the NHS Trust since 2006. This led me to pursue a MSc in Quality and Safety in Healthcare at Imperial College London in 2010 and later an MBA at Cranfield University School of Management to consolidate my business acumen and leadership skills in 2013.My professional journey took a turn, from acute care to Clinical Governance then the Elderly Care. At Candlewood House Care Home, I am excited to develop and support our team to provide the best possible care to our residents. Our overarching passion is to enrich the lives of our residents, team members and the local communities we serve.
